Let me guess, TM gets this thing? A bit letdown after the Bold.

And what? No 3g?

Not previously announced? Isn't this just a renamed Kickstart?

A Blackberry flip is big news. Will be one of the hot phones this fall. America is nuts about flip phones & smartphones. Kind of harkens back to the days of the Moto MP 200 & 220, except this one might catch on.

The kickstart was just a nicknamed use by the media. The T-Mobile version will be the 8220 and have Wi-Fi for hot spot @ home

LOL, i love how when people see a new product the think its supposed to be better then something else they have coming out.

Versed... silly silly. and yes tmo will get this, it is 1 of 2 new bb. the other will be our version of the bold. set to come out very close to this product. And ya so what no 3g.... guess i wont be as cool as the iphone users who have to turn it off anyway just to browse. Tmo has plenty of 3g data devices to be here befor the years end. And yes this thing will sell very well there is a large amount of people lookin for a blackberry with out the whole bb look, not all products are supposed to be the same an yes rim is smart enough to cater to all people not jsut the tech savy bb users, branchin out to the soccer moms...

Condor,
It is my opinion on this phone, I have said good things about products going to TM in the recent past, like the Android HTC phone. I do understand that not everything has to be high end. And I'm sure there's a market for what is more or less a flip Pearl. There is also a chance if not a certainty that the non-WIFI version will end up in AT&T's stable, as well as CDMA versions down the pike.
