Nice, I would love to see these phones, and I hope the other carriers pick them up. More choices is always good.

early reports say Sprint is next. I'm not a tmob man but it is good to see that they are first to get this phone. their employees and customers need the change. go t-mo!

Tmobile has the exclusivity to it so it will be a short while before anyone else can pick up an android device!

Please now, let's not spew garbage. The entire point of developing the Android mobile platform was to provide the wireless world with another viable open-source option. There are no exclusivity agreements in place for the software, as that would be counter intuitive to it's creation in the first place.

Now as for the specific HTC model that will run Android on T-Mobile, that may have an exclusivity agreement tied to it. However, that's not stopping any other phone manufacturers or even HTC themselves from releasing additional models running Android at the same time.

From what I have read - its not so much exclusivity, as it is resources from tmo/google camb being tied up with this particular release of the hard/software. Once this is sorted out, I am sure they will move on to Sprint.

Since tmo and sptint are the smallest, I am happy to see them getting a great phone. I just may go BACK to tmo after I left them for the 3g iphone. I was with tmo and their previous companies (voicesream/omnipoint) for ten years.

I ant wait to see it in the flesh.

For 1 week, tentatively sept 17, with others launching late sept. Interesting since tmo launching 3g Oct 1. I am guessing they will soft launch like they did the @home service.
