Sprint should've thought better...
Honestly you can't mix apples with oranges and Sprint made a HUGE mistake believing that they can actually mix iDEN with CDMA. I don't know why Sprint wanted to buy Nextel in the first place, but a mistake like this proves to be extremely startling, embarrassing, and fatal. Sprint needs to make better moves rather than to force iDEN to be migrated to CDMA, and needs to make better decisions in the future. This was a merger that could've been avoided. Should Sprint have avoided purchasing Nextel, then I would've still have been with Nextel today.

The decision was made a certain someone who is no longer with sprint anymore. ðŸ¤
While engineers/operations complain how this and that cannot be done, it is mostly baseless whining. This time, it was not baseless.
Yet another example on how just looking at raw numbers (revenue A + revenue B, customers A + customers B, etc) and being agnostic to apple/orange technology can completely burn you if you are not careful.
Although, i suspect it was due to a lot of dodgy advice and high hopes on customer conversions due to many other someones.
