There are so many haters on here. All they do is cry, like babies, about how much T-mobile sucks. They say stuff like T-mobiles coverage sucks, their phones suck, and there service is behind the times.

Yeah thats why T-mobile is the only carrier to offer perfect coverage in any house with a wifi connect. Offer $10 unlimited home service and the lowest rates out of any carrier. True we are behind on 3G but thats not our fault the government was dragging its feet on giving up the spectrum. No company is perfect on their coverage and certain companies work better in certain areas. As for phones sorry we don't try to flood the market with iphone wannabe rip offs(verizon ๐Ÿ˜‰ ).

Once we get our 3G running what are the idiots going ...

Once we get our 3G running what are the idiots going to complain about?

Probably that you don't have 4G, because at the rate that T-Mobile is moving it looks like everyone else will have moved on by the time TMo has their 3G network nationwide.

Yea but unlike your Airave service, T-mobile doesn't REQUIRE you to pay extra for wifi calling, only if you want unlimited minutes while connected to wifi.

Sprint $5 to use plan minutes, $10 for unlimited service from the device vs. Tmo $9.99 for unlimited "WiFi" calling.

complete range of sprint phones are compatible, old and new, vs. "WiFi" Tmobile HotSpot phones only (they finally have 7 phones to offer for this, which is halfway decent as long as you shield your eyes from the tv commercials for NICE phones.)

T-mobile $0.00 to use plan minutes, $9.99 for unlimited wifi calling.

Both t-mo and sprint require you to be in certain areas to get unlimited minutes with the additional feature. Difference is sprint on ONLY at home where as T-mobile is ANY wifi network you can connect to including all hotspot locations (inc. every starbucks, borders and many hotels and airports)

Plus (although I'm not supposed to tell people this) if you get the $10 feature, while connected under wifi we can't tell where the connection goes. So basically we can't bill you international rates if you make call OR receive calls anywhere in the world! Beat that...sorry you can't. sorry ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yes, your right their is a limitation on the phones that work with the ...

So yeah its a better deal to have to buy a "special" $99 wireless router instead of using your existing one. And having to pay for the service instead of optional if you want unlimited calls. Right ๐Ÿ˜‰

uh, hello??? hellz yeah I would buy that "special" $99 AIRAVE (NOT A ROUTER) to use any phone owned or liked from sprint rather than being STUCK choosing between what totals at 7 sorry phones to BUY.

I'd rather be able to use my phone on any WiFi network for calling as opposed to just the Airave.

We need to remember there are T-Mobile people, then there are ignorant people. Every now and then someone sees the light and comes over, rarely does it happen the other way.

once you have 3g coverage going strong Verizon will have 4g LTE deployed in several citys and you will be again years behind the curve.

what am I misinformed about PDX? tell me?

VZW has announced 4g LTE will launch in 2009. Tmobile will still be deploying 3g at that time.

As has been posted on several other sites.

"T-Mobile is jumping onto 4G as fast as the other carriers since T-Mobile's 3G was built from the ground with 4G in mind, meaning the groundwork for 4G is already laid out onto the footprint of their AWS spectrum.

So basically what that means is when the other carriers start to bring out nationwide 4G in late 2009/2010, T-Mobile USA will be starting their 4G at the same time."

As far as VZW goes. They can all announce this and that, but that doesn't mean it's going to happen in that time frame.

Completely innocent, non sarcasm laced question here: If they did as you say, then why spend hundreds of millions laying 3G at all? why not just leapfrog everyone and go straight for 4G??

It's not what I said, it's what I have read. Besides, just having the groundwork there doesn't mean there is not still work to do. All the carriers still have work to do before 4G.
