Android phones, Crackberry Storm 2. Very interesting things going on. Now all they gotta do is have better pricing plans.

If their plans were as cheap as Tmobile or Sprint, then you could expect the same network coverage you get from both...which is virtually none.

When comparing plans to AT&T, they are virtually the same and both have data requirements.

I love it when people get their facts straight before posting.

I would love to switch to Verizon from AT&T, the only thing keeping me is the fact that texting is $20 a line for unlimited. AT&T offers unlimited texting for up to 5 lines at $30 a month, with Verizon and four lines of text it would be $80. Verizon has a lot of good phones going for them.

Wrong, the Verizon Family share plan with unlimIted text/pic is the same as AT+T AND is only 30.00 month. Called the Select Family share plan. I have 5 lines on my acct and we all have the unlimited texting/picture messaging and it only cost me 30.00 for all 5lines.

No question. They are coming out swinging. This also explains why they are raising the ETF on advanced devices... They plan to sell a bunch of them.

One thing a lot of people might not be considering is that if this ETF change works, it could mean that phones can be discounted EVEN MORE.

Or, (what you and I would prefer) Verizon reworks their month to month plans so they become more attractive to both reps and consumers.

Yeah, but you know that they're not going to discount their phones even more. It's not the ETF that drives the phone price, it's how many years you sign on for. No Contract = Full Price, 1 yr contract = small discount, 2 yr contract = normal discount.
