Oh so what! I spend money on my phones...I never get the crappy free phones. The cheap freaks will be the ones to complain... 🙄

All phones are subsidized by the carriers. So you will pay more for your phones across the board.

seriously, do you really think there will be no more free phone? come on, there will always be a basic pantech or nokia or moto free, or at least free aafter rebate

If there are no more ETF's, carriers will be forced to charge full price for handsets since the consumer will be able to leave at will.

there will still be etfs, they will just be regulated by the govt and not the carriers. there will always be a penalty for breaking a contract

except now customers wont be able to dispute ant ETFs because it's not a gov't regulation. big win for the carriers.
