Storm 2 versus Motorola Droid

I have been anxiously waiting for the Storm 2 to come out. My tired Palm Treo 700P is long overdue for an upgrade but nothing at Verizon excited me. The Storm 2, I knew, was going to be the one. Now the Droid is coming, so I'll have to wait another little bit to check it out before deciding. I am primarily a business user, needing good email, contacts, etc. but I want to have a good browser and multimedia experience too. Any comments on which one? I hope someone will do a side-by-side comparison of the two as soon as possible.

Droids will have the physical keyboard like your Palm did. Storm2 is all screen and virtual keyboards.

To me, nothing beats Blackberrys for email and contacts. The standard Blackberry browser isn't really that great, but you can always download a better one from another company. Opera is good. I heard Bolt is also good.

-Blackberry its more work enviroment

-Android its like Symbian, almost for everyone

So I dont see a real competition between a Work smartphone & Multimedia smartphone.

I'm a BB fan, but the Droid looks pretty nice!

I think it's odd that the Droid made it on the phonescoop.com comparison tool before the Storm2, even though the former hasn't even been released yet! That is a true testament to marketing hype.

I contacted phonescoop about the Storm2. They are just a little behind. Should hopefully be up later today.

The way I look at Storm vs. Droid is one is from a business oriented company and the other is a consumer oriented company. They both come from different perspectives and ove...
