Free Coverage?

I don't like the idea that T-Mobile would get free coverage for their customers with my $10 per month.. what's the deal with this mini "tower" idea?

That's not right at all. Only ceratin handsets can connect to a wireless router and you can set up security so only phones you own can connect to the router. It runs off 802.11g normal wifi. The hi-port router is only for the @home service which is a land-line replacement. It works like a normal wifi router with the exception that it has two places for sim cards and two WIRED home telephone jacks (standard RJ11), to put a home phone in.
