T-Mobile Tackles Prorated ETFs
Weak
And I bet you are really regretting that decision back in 06, lol
I still believe ALL carriers should allow one to bring their own phone, unlocked, or previously activated carrier branded specific phone and go NO CONTRACT.
Is the 2- Year agreement for the "service plan" - if so, then they should stop allowing people to change plans, all add-ons and subtractions should requite ETFs to be paid then.
Is the 2- Year agreement for the "phone price" - if so, then they should stop allowing people to unlock and re-up their 2 year agreement for new price. All phone changes should require ETF's to be paid then.
SO WHICH IS IT!!!!
At the end of the day, it al...

I wonder why?
"I DONT CARE IF IT ****S MY CREDIT"
They start at $175 and drop by $5 each month of paid service.
Activating without contract sucks for reps because they dont get paid for it!!!!
I'm sorry we can't give you free service, free phone and let you leave whenever you want. I think this is a very fare deal. If it were up to me I wouldn't cut people a break on the ETF. All it does is make it easier for every jack off like yourself to whine like a 2 year old little girl because they can't get their way Now its easier threaten to cancel and go to another carrier were retard like you are so sure that they will give in to all their demands.
So long don't let the door hit you on the way out.

No, he was dead on. People always want everything for free. Accept the changes and move on. How big of a deal is the etf anyways? Its not like you wont be able to put your kids through college cuz you can't afford to pay your etf.
I guess paying one's monthly till is getting something for nothing? No, it won't drive me broke to pay off $200 on an etf fee, but, no other industry does this, well to this extent. And others as well as myself would much rather spend $200 on something else then give it to some telco.
Yeah, it sucks, and I dont like it either, but its the world we live in. I like the move that tmobile made today and I think its pretty fair for customers.
just my two cents I guess

Well either they will change, or the government will step in, people are pissed far more then then those here who find no problems with this. And please, don't give this government shouldn't interfere, these companies have no problems with government interference when it works for their benifit.
End users should not be under any obligation to provide planned usage for the future for any carrier. If TMO, AT&T, VZW and Sprint wish to charge me under some pro-rated charge for the recoup of the cost of a subsidized phone, fine.
Good customer service as well as infrastructure should be used to maintain customers.
