You mean third, don't you?

The Nokia 3555 and Samsung T819 both have WCDMA 1700. Or is that not for data?

The article says that the phone has the ability for 3G streaming video. If this is true, then it would be the first T-Mobile phone to do so.

I'm suprised about this and hopeful this happens. T-Mobile has been saying for the longest time that the AWS spectrum was only for voice capacity first then data second. They didn't want to do video or music downloading because, as they say it, has nothing to do with connecting with people. It looks like they maybe changing their minds on that.

He means first since this phone will allow data services. The other low end phones from T-Mobile that have 3G are only UMTS. This phone will be HSDPA for faster data. T-Mobile only wanted the Samsung t639, Nokia 3555, and Nokia 6263 to be used as 3G voice devices even though their network supports both voice and data at the same time on 3G. People thought it was only for voice since the phones are UMTS voice only.

I can say
3555 and 6263, and T639 can be tethered, and the former 2 can get UMTS speed!
then you know your answer, right?
