Review: Motorola CLIQ
Works fine for me!
I have had this device for about a week now and I cannot complain about much. I live in a 3G area and have not experienced any of the switching between EDGE and 3G as frequently as reviewed.
The battery life is way better than the G1 or the MyTouch.
As far as the lag goes, none really. I have loaded over 50 apps on the phone and it still runs smoothly. Even when the phone is multi-tasking, I have no real issues. I can listen to music, browse the web (multiple pages), send and receive messages, and run other apps in the background, without a problem.
If you don't like the happenings widgets on one screen, then move them around.
One thing I couldn't figure out was the "pinching" of the browser to zoom. I didn't think the phone was multi-touch, that I know of. Browsing is even faster than on the G1 and MyTouch.
Now the way the slide shimmies is due to the steel construction slide that is attached to the base. They gave it some play so it wouldn't wear away after normal wear-and-tear. They built this device for longevity.
The sound clarity is great!
The one thing I wish they would of did is, is smooth the edges around the face of the device. After about 30 minutes on the phone, you ear tends to get a little sore.
The Motoblur website that can wipe your phone if its stolen or lost is also a plus!
I think this reviewer that was put this review together seemed a little bias and a little rough in a way. I would of liked to hear about the positives of the phone a little more as well. I recommend on trying another device and compare it to the one that was tested.
