Review: Motorola CLIQ

Wow! Simply put. This was a rather big disappointing review. I too had high hopes for this phone. I wanted to upgrade my wife to it. She doesn't have "100's" of twitter and facebook contacts but this also means it could be a problem if/when it reaches that amount.

The calling and battery are the biggest issue for me here because she uses her phone every single day for all sorts of things. Recently its been a lot of GPS and Mapquest. She does do a lot of Facebook now more then Myspace and she does tons of YouTube. With the current battery issue she wouldn't make it through the day based on this review. The calling issue is simply, not acceptable on any level. This is, in the end, a cellphone. What good is such a device labeled as "cellphone" that cant make or receive calls?

I have to ignore how good MOTOBLUR may or may not be and ignore the fact its only 1.0 because again, as I mentioned, as much as she does Social Networking, I need her to be able to make and receive calls and equally as important, i need her phone to survive the day.

I am now very disappointed and I hope that by Nov 3rd when this phone is released, theres a update of some sort following it. Damn.... :/

*Raise glass; heres to your phone being the only one with calling and battery problems. May the rest of the phones shipped out to the consumers be accurate to the specs we was told.
