see anything anywhere saying that the vzw system wont work with sprint/nextel system? im not doubting it, i would just like to read it

Actually BrewChat and Qchat are supposed to interoperate with each other but I think according to the agreement, the one that Sprint has exclusively over, (I don’t remember all of it though) has exclusivity on the interoperability between IDEN and CDMA.

Qchat is 100% owned by Sprint/Nextel with the fact that no one in this country can use it so BrewChat, which is based on/with Qchat, cannot be allowed to be used. Sprint/Nextel will probably sue.

im sure they will, or would... but after all this talk on here no one can find anything to say they are not compatible

Yea. Ideally they can but Sprint/Nextel wouldn’t allow such a thing to take place. They are compatible but some features and functions are not on both.

Compatibility isn't the issue as much as whether or not they will allow such communication to exist.

Technically, SouthernLinc (iDEN) and Nextel could PTT with one another, but the two companies don't allow it.
