Messed with it on Friday 5/23...
I enjoyed the phone. You can't beat the price! It was a surprise, to be sure. I saw it on the Verizon site Wednesday and was surprised since Phonescoop hadn't posted information on it at the time.
I went into my Verizon store to exchange my Glyde for the RAZR2 and gave the W755 a quick run-through. It's not nearly as sexy as the RAZR2 but it's a slick looking cell nonetheless. I have to say it looks like a Moto/Nokia hybrid in some ways.
Appearance-wise; considering the lines, colors, elegant-factor..it's the original Star Trek if the RAZR2 is the Next Generation. 🙂
(sorry. I always think about Star Trek when I think about Moto flip-phones.)
I'd recommend it to flip fans, from what I learned in my 8-10 minutes of hands-on.

When did Motorola have a Star Trek phone? They sold the Star Tac back in the day, but no Star Trek to my knowledge.

Martin Cooper, a Motorola researcher and exec was the inventor of the first real mobile phone. He was largely inspired by the 'Star Trek' hand-held Federation communicators that Kirk, Spock and the rest of the crew used. The first flip-style phones were greatly inspired as well by the 'Trek' communicator.
