I have a feeling Wimax will actually work really well. As for the name "Sprint", i feel they have burned too many bridges for anyone to care.

I don't blame you. I had Sprint for a whole year and a half and I was ready to leave. 🤣 Though I can't say Alltel was much better. At least Alltel has My Circle ... I'll stick with my awesome T-Mobile service.

But, if Sprint should pull off a miracle with WiMax, the 20-something customers remaining with them should be quite pleased.

Do you mean the age range of customers Sprint will have, or the number of customers that Sprint will have by the time a launch would happen?

54 million customer due to the fact that Sprint merged with Nextel (which had a bigger customer clients). It works just the same way with AT&T, the are sitting on top because the merger with Bell South who had how many shares of Cingular.

Take a look at Verizon, number 2. I am not going to say the have not merged with anyone, but they have not bought out a huge carrier like these others. So people don't tell me that Sprint deserves that bragging right.

It doesn't matter who merged with who. ATT is still no. 1 and Sprint is still no. 3. Merger or no merger they still get to have these numbers count.

Verizon: an amalgamation of four large regional carriers including Bell Atlantic, GTE, Airtouch and PrimeCo. They set the precedent for large corporate mergers. It's the name of the game in this industry. So don't count them out.

Wait, so VZW deserves a cookie because they made up their customer base of multiple larger companies and then buying lots of small ones? I'm missing your point...that sounds the same as all the other companies...

Last time I checked, T-Mobile has over 120 million customers (Deutsche Telekom). If you're all about the numbers, and you say the number of customers counts, then there you go. Enjoy your numbers.

Also, T-Mobile has far fewer PROBLEMS than Sprint has too (i.e. AMERICAN customer service reps, awesome plans, awesome service, etc.). If you love your beloved Sprint, then good for you. Keep on loving them. Doesn't mean everyone else has to.

Don't like people sharing their opinions about that horrible company? Well, then you don't belong in the free-thinking world of the Internet, and should stick in your own little special "Sprint fanclub," boys and girls.

everyone can have their opinions. Do you personally work for DEUTSCHE TELEKOM or do you work for T MOBILE. I think t mobile is great dont get me wrong if you are cheap and want service, go to tmobile. Tmobile is slow with everything especially their internet they just got 3g. I cant stand t mobile thinking they are the supreme network I used to have tmobile service in the Louisville, KY area and wow the service was terrible. I moved to San Diego, Ca it only got worse. Now I work for Sprint but I do enjoy you telling me about how special DT is. Does that mean Verizon gets to add Voda. If so wouldnt that make them no. 2 still. ATT is still no. 1. I will give it to you DT would be 3. But keep in mind do you live in the US or do you l...

oh and just thinking if you are in favor of the world so much. Why should it matter where the customer service reps are from. You need to expand your mind and view the world like you say. Dont wrap your little brain around America so much and there wont be problems. Can people from India get a job, thanks for listening

what no answer to your stupidity. Please try to understand I do like people to speak ENGLISH when I call them, the problems you say we have with cust. service reps is the same problem that many successful companys have. The wireless industry is about making money. Sprint has gone down in cust. service for having reps that cant speak english not for having unAMERICAN reps

If you hate sprint so much be a man and pat the cancellation fee and cancel your service the only problem sprint has is the they cater to people with poor credit that can't get a phone on any other network and these are the people that complain try fixing your credit before complaining about something you can control cancel your service

Yeah they are going to need it cause they will be the only carrier with Wimax. All the major carriers can network together and impliment roaming agreements. While Sprint will have to rely on their own network. Sprint relying on their own network is never a good thing.
