With reguards to any further loss of customers, peoples contracts are always expiring. IF the name Sprint has a future at all it probably won't be til the 2nd half of 09 that we'll know if this company really stands a chance of surviving or being bought out.

They have Wimax and other assets that will probably lead to a sale.

If a lot of consumers knew just what it was capable of, I believe it could bring a lot of business their way. But I do not think it will be enough. It's sad. I've worked for Sprint for 5 years and I really can't see any long-term future for this company. They do have a pretty good network and I love their broadband capabilities. But let's just say I am in the market for a new job...big time.

The average customer gives a crap about what they are told to. If speed becomes the next "must have", then they will care. You give the mob to much credit.

I dont think so !!! You think the backers of WiMax are going to hang in there with Sprint? I wont be surprised to see a major cable company pull the monies that they were going to support Sprint , maybe Clearwire will dump the project with Sprint time will tell ..

I'm a Sprint customer since 1998 and I almost was driven to leaving Sprint after they kept on hanging up on me when I tried to call and solve my double billing problem a couple months back. I was SO close to leaving over a simple billing error that went unsolved. Finally, when I told them to cancel my service they did not disconnect me when trying to transfer me.
