Will this phone require a "Simply Everything" plan?
I am on a $29.99 employee plan that includes everything I could ever need to use this device to its fullest potential (unlimited data, unlimited text/picture messaging, GPS included, etc.), but Sprint has required its customers to use a Simply Everything plan on many of its newer devices (Instinct and Pre). Does anyone know if this phone will be available to those without a Simply Everything plan?

you don't need an SE plan, just an everything data plan, which is what your employee plan is... sorta (it rolls all the data in the plan in other words). you'll be fine.
...
actually the plan that your talking about which is 29.99 is not an actual employee plan persay... its whats knows as a SERO plan. which stands for Sprint Employee Referal Oppertunity plan... and you would need to bump up to the 59.99 plan... which gives you the same things but also includes sprit nav and tv... so... basicly, it would be treated the same as an instinct or the pre... trojandrew is wrong

Actually it's not a SERO plan - it's a discounted cell phone plan that I have through my employer.

You might not be able to get the Pixie at first with your plan, like the Pre, but they allowed the Pre to be used on the Sprint Retail Emp plan after 6 weeks or so. I am on that plan as well and they allowed us to get the Pre in August. The first sales should be for customers..
