Sprint Seriously Considering Sale of Nextel
Just when we thought we were in the clear.....
Didn't we just convert about a billion people to this "new and improved" system, we slowly walk back to the drawling board...
Why you ask? Well it seems that Sprint thought it would be a great idea to buy out a major analog phone company, in a digital world... Well, when Sprint baught out this "giant", they also got stuck with the responsability of making sure its analog airwave issue was corrected...Nay Nay Nextel...
All I know is if I ever have to call for help and I hear someone say, "Thank you for calling Nextel", I'm going to be a little upset...
If you can't correct the issue, then eliminate it. Head back to the board, think of something new, like sellin...

nextel has alway been digital... that was the big draw to nextel besides the chirp in the early days
yeah... that's all it is ... hmmm no I think that it was the research I did as the national office supply chain's local technology lead that the district and regional managers asked me to be on the state panel to provide an opinion on which cellular services we should carry in the state.

The Nextel phones are bulky for use by construction workers and business, never really meant for the general public. They were the first network to use gps, to track your workers and contact venders.Sprint bought them because Nextel had and still has the majority of the business push to talk customers that need this service.
