AT&T already has these plans.
...
AT&T already has the BB data only and PDA data only plans, but none for handsets specifically. T-Mo has had text & internet and sidekick plans forever, and the sidekick plan is only $29.99. Verizon isn't the leader on this one, but now AT&T is more likely to follow suit.

yeah there is a college on the east coast I believe that is for deaf students and each of them is issued a t-mobile sidekick when they enroll--kinda cool.
Im sure att will do exactly the same pricing as verizon....its what they always do.

Huh!?
Why would you want sprint to "copy" this when they already have the plans available to outdo this completely??
SERO - 30 bucks, plus you get **gasp!** 500 minutes
If you really dont want voice, and you are hearing impaired (who these plans are aimed towards), you can get the hearing impaired plan for 30 bucks (It may be 40.. but I think its 30) which gives you unlimited messaging and data from any device.

Would you sprint fanboys stop comparing EVERYTHING to your hard to get and non concsumer SERO plans? It is NOT an apple to apple comparison, for the love of God. You can't walk into a Sprint store and sign up for SERO, so therefore you are retarded to compare it to these plans. Heck I know folks who get bad ass discounts for working for VZW and AT&T, I guess they should brag how their employee plans are so much better than Sprints consumer plans. ๐

Well i'm with Sprint but you're right. ๐

Just FYI you can walk in to a Sprint Store and get SERO. You think if you walk in and say "i am just looking at phones i want to get the SERO online" that the rep won't find a way to put you on the SERO? Come on, that is free money you are letting walk. Soooo it can be done.
As far as VZW vs the world, i would venture to say VZW usually follows more than leads. They just throw more money at advertising so to the blind eye they are leaders. Every carrier has these plans, even VZW had them in one shape or fashion. But now they changed them a little bit and they are advertising them.
