Consumer reports is such a joke in regards to wireless services. They take such a small sampling of the overall picture. Take a look at the details on the study. Do you really think Consumer reports can cover every carrier in every part of the country? And they aren't exactly the industry leader in reporting wireless concerns.

While I don't necessarily agree they are a joke it IS true that their surveys represent a rather small cross-section of consumers, often a small as 1200, only taken from the ranks of their own subscribers rather than the public at large.

What I often find laughable is that each issue that reviews cell phones often lists models that are on closeout or are no longer sold by the time it makes it to the news stands.

Not exactly the best exhibits of scientific method to found for sure.
