What are they looking to beat the iphone in?

Sales? not possible
Software? nope
Marketing? Iphone was marketed by the press with hype and by Apple

$100 million could be invested into other things. Network, Customer Service, Customer promotions.

and what about attachments? this cant replace a pda or iphone if it cant open pdf's, word files and so on? also does it have windows or any operating system?
