Why does it seem to always be wifi verses gps

Does anyone know why you seem to only have a choice between either having GPS or Wifi on the Blackberry phones??? I mean, can't they have both?

probably to keep it affordable 😳 . The 8820 for AT&T has both wifi and gps w/ no camera and it's significantly more expensive than the curve or pearl.
