ya. lets not forget about copy and paste function. and stereo bluetooth support for crying out loud! how can you make a "music phone" with no stereo bluetooth support?! i'll assume they left these key features out so that all of the apple lovers will drop another $600 when they release a second generation iphone.

Yeah, I would almost bet that when Apple releases the 3G iPhone, it will probably be available in a 8, 16, and 32 GB size as well as have MMS and all of those other features that it previously lacked. Just a prediction though!

I don't understand Apple's angst against MMS, especially on a media phone like this. Reminds me of their "issue" with making a two button scroll mouse.

This is a similar sort of thing, yes. There was no reason a Mac couldn't have a two button scroll mouse once they went to ADB ports. There were lots of compatible ones on the market. Once MacOS X came out, ANY two button USB PC scroll mouse would work. But they never actually went to a proper two button scroll mouse until their recent 'Mighty Mouse', which is only a few years old at this point.
Apparently it offends their sense of 'elegance'.

Who knows? You can count on any MMS application out there to be third-party, and not an Apple release. Jobs seems to regard MMS as a primitive kludge compared to being able to simply email the picture.
