Will this phone make it to the US?

If this phone comes to the US what impact will the lack of 850 mean for users? AT&T or T-Mob?

The lack of 850MHz means not for at&t. I doubt we will see this on a US carrier for sometime.

A US carrier won't offer the current version, that's for sure.

You could import an unlocked one, but I wouldn't recommend it. You'd have serious coverage problems with AT&T and you wouldn't get full coverage even with T-Mobile.

US Carriers tend to have custom versions made when and if they choose to offer a phone like this. For example, the A717, i607, D807, T329, and T519 were all based on popular European equivalents, but the US carriers had custom versions made with the specs and features altered to fit what they wanted.

That could happen with the Soul, but who knows? Only a handful of popular European models (like the examples above) ever get a US treatment; most don't.
