Well sprint is the only one who is anywhere close to a 4G network and carriers like T-mobile don't even have a 3G network yet. If sprint gets enough investors (Google, Bestbuy, Clearwire) They can have a nationwide WiMax network in a couple of years and every other carrier will be just starting to draw up plans for their 4G network.

Just think about it for a second, sprint being the first carrier to offer Video calling. That is HUGE!!!!!

I think this is a great that sprint is talking with these companies.

yeah but sprint should really be concentrating on fixing its customer service and actually hiring qualified individuals or at least merge the billing,CS,IT and credit into one huge support. it gets frustrating when you have to call CS and they cant do it because thats a different system that they use and have to transfer you to another rep and that rep cant help you because they don't have the right training for that and the next person is the wrong department and the next ect....

only about 20% really care about 4g right now. and from that percentage only 50% really use the power vision. I'm glad that they are looking toward the future of wireless tech but i think right now you have to think about the present and getting that money to st...

Good point about CS, which I think is improving. But building a WiMAX network (with our without partners) is not mutually exclusive of improving customer service and satisfaction. There's no doubt they can multitask.
