that's a good looking phone...too bad we dont have anything that nice with verizon wireless. all the phones i had to choose from were stupid looking and so cheesy. this one has an actual antenna!! it's about time they made a phone with an external antenna. plus it's nicely equipped. i just cant wait to see the sticker price on that bad boy. also i hope this motorola doesnt have slow and locking up software traits as the rest of it's predecessors. 😎

Being in the wireless retail segment for going on 15 years now I've asked this question both rhetorically to my peers and provacatively to some customers...

Do you by a phone, spending sometimes hundreds of dollars on it in addition to monthly plan charges, in order to LOOK at it and be seen with it or to actually USE the bloody thing? Maybe it's just me but buying a piece of technology primarily for how it looks THEN *maybe* for how it works makes about a much sense as buying a Chevy Aveo just because it comes in your favorite color and the BMW 3-series you can afford didn't.

no i dont shop for phones by the way they look. thats how women shop for phones. i judge phones by the way they operate and what sort of key features they have. such as an external antenna which i find to be very useful for signal and appealing on a phone. also as far as the chevrolet comment i'd buy that because it's a chevy and i happen to be a chevy man, i dunno necessarily an aveo but maybe a lumina ltz or an impalla ss. this phone anyways looks rugged, it gives it that nice nextel look. i would definently consider purchasing it. at the moment im stuck with verizon wireless using a cheap lg vx8700 which offers nothing besides a nice camera. the keypad sucks and so does the sound and signal. so id jump to the moto from att in a heart beat...

Sorry. That was intended to be in response to renardlee's comment about a "fug phone". That's what I get for trying to hastily post while on my break.

of course im gonna look at things as far as reception(which is paramount to me), features: camera, microSD slot, mp3 player and other sorts of things. so what is wrong with buying it for looks, btw im younger so im more inclined to buy things that are more aesthetically pleasing.

and im entitled to my opinion, i post something about a phone being "fug" and two people make these unnecessary comments. and one even goes further to say "thats how women buy stuff" how do you know that.

btw chevy is just another piece of crap put out by GM. but then again i like ford's products.

It's not always about looks. I'd rather have something ugly that does what I want it to do then something flashy that doesn't do what I want it to do.
