We should also look into radiation from the sun... That practically gives off radiation on all frequencies!

You're not too far off, here.

Look at all the reporting being done these days on the damaging effects of the sun, and the supposed need for sun blockers.

Life gives you cancer, so I might as well go out basking in the sun while talking on my cell.

Yeah, and don't forget all the no-no's on the list of foods that are cancer causing too.

Let me preface my statements by saying I'm honestly not trying to be argumentative.

It turns out that sunblocks might actually be causing more harm than realized as well.

Apparently there is a growing belief sunblock is creating Vitamin D decencies. Vitamin D is created when skin is exposed to sunlight and a key ingredient for our bodies to ward off chronic diseases of all types.

Additionally, sunblocks essentially break down into free radicals when exposed to sunlight. That's how they work to block UV in the first place.

So you have a Vitamin D deficiency and an increase in free radicals - a double whammy if you will.

I'm not saying the sun can not have harmful effects when overexposed given our ozone layer and other pollut...

and thats the reason why i dont use sunblock at all, it has the potential to CAUSE cancer when its original intention was to prevent skin cancer from UV rays and it turns out those UV rays are good for you b/c they help the body manufacture Vitamin D. I, so i see no problem with sunbathing in moderation. anything in excess can harm you(there are exceptions).

I just refuse to panic about cellular phones and the possibility of biological damage. i mean i use my phone when i need it and if i do, i mostly text message which will significantly reduce my exposure to RF energy not implying that there is a proven risk. i also use alternative methods of communication such as instant messaging and VOIP. although there is no significant evide...

While this is a strawman argument, I'm afraid it's not the first in this discussion, therefore you win no cookie.
