I agree with that, I used to work for nextel and it was great until sprint bought them out. I quit right after sprint took over control of the nextel stores!

Nextel was a shinking ship when Sprint bought them. The only reason Sprint bought Nextel was for the push to talk service, their 2.5ghz spectrum holdings, Qchat commitment from Qualcomm, and their current 14 million (or whatever the number was)customers. Nextel service went down hill right after the merger because of a Vocoder that they put in place which garbled their voice services. Sprint has done some wrong integrating the two companies and has faultered in many areas. When the merger took place management teams where divided pretty evenly nextel and sprint. It is all to blame on management or mismanagement. Why they still have jobs I dont know?????
