I wouldn't count them out on this auction at all. The one that should be worried is Alltel, since they refused to participate in the AWS auction, because they don't like licenses that require more towers to be built out to cover the same area. That attitude has kept them from getting into more markets, and this auction, isn't expected to get them into most of the major cities either, as AT&T & Verizon Wireless will outbid Alltel on the top 10 markets, and even more so on the top 5. And if Alltel were to get their hand on the top markets, it'll be for the small 2mhz licenses, and that won't offer much capacity.
