would actually support a 12 gb micro sd card. Im curious because i just got in the industry and it would be nice to know?

Most phones with microSDHC probably would. I know Motorola has specifically announced support for up to 32GB microSDHC as it becomes available for the Z8 and Z10 phones.

Well, I know for sure that my N95 will support cards up to 8GB's, there are actually people out there that own 8GB microsd cards in they're N95's, and it works.

well i have an upstage which i know takes a 2g chip. But im assuming that any phone that would take this 12gb chip would have to be some kind of smartphone, I was just wondering which ones that were out right now could support them?

The AT&T Tilt (aka 8925, aka Kaiser II) supports micro SDHC up to 32 gigs. I only have a 4 gig card in mine, but that's more than enough for what I need.
If I wanted to store and watch movies, though, a 12 gig card would be nice.
