Would love to meet the moron who would buy one when the sell 30gb mp3 players for much less than that. If that is indeed what the price turns out to be.

2gb cards used to cost about $80 and now you can find them for $20... I doubt the 12gb cards will cost $300 or even $200... an mp3 player can not be used to store all types of files..only mp3s and maybe picture files... so why would I buy an mp3 player over an external storage card where i can store many different types of files?? Plus then it defeats the purpose of having a Music phone and you'd have to carry around two devices...

I would agree that about $250-300 when they first come out with the price dropping to below $200 within a year. It's amazing to me to see how fast the price dropped on the 1GB and 2GB cards once a larger card appeared on the market. I can't help but think that the same thing will happen with these.

Wow, only $40! I'm julous, I paid $53 for my 4GB card! I have about 538 songs on mine so far.

I'm happy with 4gigs, maybe 6 in the future. But personally, I can't imagine needing 12GB's anytime soon.
