I wonder if that it could be possible with mobile phones?

That would be awesome but lets not forget about heat syncing for the devices. I remember when the little piece of tape with the copper looking emblem on it. These little things would burn phones up due to the phone becoming real hot and being out of sync.

Waterproof would be awesome but, if it comes with the price of destroying the phone then is it really worth it?


My only other concern would be if it comes with a warranty and any assurances. Due to the normal wear and tear on phones eventually there would be place on your phone that it would come off; this is where a warranty would kick in.

The Phone Insurance companies would a lot of business if this goes through.

waterproof = walletproof.. noone gonna b able to afford it im shure untill its no longer considered a premium feature 👿

Sure, but it'll be a standard feature fast enough. The first camera phone debuted in America at the beginning of the century, and now virtually every phone is a camera phone. It only took a few years for the Razr to be the single most popular phone in the world (and it's already being eclipsed). I started selling phones when there was only one Bluetooth-enabled phone and it cost hundreds of dollars, and now those phones are either free or close to free.

The technology will arrive first as a premium feature so customers who want a heavy-duty phone won't have to get a bulky mil-spec unit, and it will cost $50-100 more than the average phone. But why shouldn't it? After all, if it means no Assurion insurance, you've already saved yourse...
