its a long ways away but those speeds are good. if you think about it besides games and dwnloading movies there aren't a lot of things needing even half that speed
...
True ... those are fast speeds ... but perhaps its like having a 500hp car ... it's only good on the Autobahn, otherwise it's pretty much useless?
...
The devices are never developed before the technology.
If the technology exist to offer such speeds, then the devices will start getting fancier.
Think about actual video messaging instead of the crap we call video messaging today.
Think about everything being digital; newspapers, periodicals, music stores, video games, banking, shopping.
Its the wireless revolution man.
...
Well everything is just a marketing strategy. They'll let the consumers feel the need for the new service and they'll hack you with the prices on the new devices that the're going to offer just so that you can avail the service. Poor consumers. 😢
...
some services actually make sense, like mobile banking.
Especially with that new RFID chip by sammy.
Its almost time for the NEW WORLD ORDER
...
New world order is already in place it's just the execution that is being slowed down because they're trying to squeeze every penny that they can from consumers before they come up with a new one. I'm sure this fast wireless technology has been out there for quite sometime. It's just like a PC everytime you buy an upgraded version the next thing before you know it there's a more upgraded version out there.
...
just like broads, everytime you settle down theres a new hot one itching to be poked.
Just pick something and stick to it.
sign that 2 year agreement
...
thats the same thing that probably people thought in the 90's.. why need this interconnected network.. maybe things will start moving on to the wireless world and you have mobile servers spitting out the services previously confined to the server farms.. who knows.

Good luck getting that kind of throughput on the internet during day-to-day operations. Im sure by the time LTE is in the hands the consumer, this will change though.
...
a long ways away, huh? Well, who knows what 2010 will bring, but real world end user speeds of over a 100mbps, I don't see that before 2012, I really don't especially in the U.S.

well I see 2012 as more likely for this to happen. now I see this as being a longtime from now.
