Ok, let's think this through. The batteries will improve by a factor of tenfold. Let's say you've got a PDA phone like the Q that doesn't have the greatest battery life, so you get maybe a day out of the battery. This new battery increases the performance tenfold, so now you can get ten days of use. A quarter of a charge at the end of the day will still net you two and a half days of use.
I fail to see the problem here...

second, this will enable manufacturers to make phones smaller. Since a smaller battery can provide better juice, they can pack a bigger camera or more memory etc.

Its not about better juice, most people dont need all that juice. Its about more stuff packed into the same small package.
