Nokia phones are plenty innovative. However, they are too "european" for the tastes of most Americans. If they want to increase American market-share, they need to hire some American designers.

There's definitely some truth to this. I personally kind of like the European designs (usually) but Nokia could definitely learn a thing or two from Apple when it comes to design aesthetics.

I disagree. Every phone that comes out is either an older verision of Asian or European style phones. And how come all the better looking phones are coming out in Asia and Europe. Like the 5MP Samsung G800. Learning from Apple? I hope not. Only thing that Apple did was make all the manufacturers hurry and bring out their touch phones which were still in testing. Yea the iPhone is a great phone. But I wouldn't go out and buy a phone from a company that has to come out with a new model of it's iPods every 6 months.

Nokia phones are good looking to me in my opinion. And I'm sure Nokia will come out with a nice Touch phone of it's own. Or if they already have. I don't remember. =P
