Anyone else notice in the last few months that Samsung has the best lineup of phones for VZW? Last year LG had the lineup. Yes, I know about the Voyager and Venus, but look at the whole picture: Samsung has a great phone for any customer needs right now. 340, 410, 540 (smokes the vx8350) 620, 740, and now the i760 and the Flipshot! I just can't wait for the 940 to show up.

You would be very wrong about the Sammy 540 'smoking' the LG 8350... rather, its the other way around, sadly. ☹️

You are very wrong about the u540 and its loud speaker. Currently the u540 is having no issue in the field. You were just unluckly and got a bad one. The sales rep that made this comments most likly had a LG and pushed you to it. The u540 is one of the most popular phone at its price, out selling other manufactures in the same space. The Samsung line up from the past did have some speaker phone issues but sense the u740's launch they are gone. The Juke currently has the loudest and clearest speaker of any phone in Verizon's lineup. This only issue that the u540 might have is the color needs to change.
