Government Threatens To Shut Down Sprint's iDEN Network
This is coming from......
..... the same government that is taking forever and a day to move off the spectrum that T-Mobile has bought for 3G use. Sounds kind of hypocritical to me. Although it is kind of stupid for Sprint to continue to design and sell phones that are due to obsolete soon.

Thank you someone else here found the irony in this situation. Unless the Government is using the 800 MHz spectrum to replace their 1700 MHz spectrum that would be the reasoning behind this, but I highly doubt it because the former is only used for public safety.
