imagine having this awesome product that you can use to suscribe thousands and thousands of customers.

then it doesnt work properly.

and christmas is around the corner.

do you let it "slide" until after the holidays? or do you do the right thing and save your customers from aggravation?

congratulations T-mobile

Er, they pretty much have. They've halted sales and are exchanging it for the Sidekick LX at the very least until the problem is fixed. How is that not "the right thing"?

It has been taken care of. Not really all that witty by the way. My friend was upgraded to the LX at ZERO cost because of this. His was not even affected. Congratulations to you!

Then you may want to check your text-speak because you came off as horribly sarcastic. And your repeated use of "genius" is not very clever, genius.

In reading his message, I thought it was perfectly clear that he was being complimentary of T-Mobile's actions.

They have another option where you can just return the device and apply the value of the original purchase price to a different handset or device. that pretty much covers most of their handsets.

I know, T-Mobile has done the right thing. There are some people that are getting so worked up because this T-Mobile device is called back. This kind of thing happens. It is not a safety issue, it was an ease of use issue. Nobody is getting hurt or injured, and they are actually being upgraded in the process.

That may be where the demo was made but from what I've read about the moto dev team, it used to be in china untill they moved it all to india. the reasoning behind this was that they got twice the work force at half the cost...

And thats the reason behind the bad moto products you've seen come out in the last 6 months.

FYI, this is just from what I've read on cellular sites and forums.
