I know. Sorry. It was a Vodafone guy, and Android is new to Europe.

Truth be told, there is not much new compared to the G1. It lacks a keyboard and a has a few hardware tweaks like a larger battery and more memory, but that's about it.

All that's new to demo is the software keyboard, and I did make sure he demo'd that.

We may do a follow-up video showing landscape keyboard mode, etc. There's also a rumor it has video recording. If so, we'll try to get that on video.

The G2 is supposed to be launching with the "cupcake" update already on it, so that should be some good news for you G1 users since it means it will probably be launched around the same time the G2 launches, if not a little early to get one round of minor updates done to it based on mass usage info.

Actually, in the Magic press conference, I believe they said the Magic is *not* shipping with cupcake. Cupcake brings things like A2DP, which is not in the Magic that I know of.

It does have a few key improvements over the current software for the G1, for sure, but it's technically not cupcake.

Really? Not to say you are wrong, since I know you do a better job of measuring twice and cutting once then other sites:

I am guessing they got it wrong then(Basically jumped the gun and decided to assume it was because of the added features)?

For me, the "cupcake" upgrade seems to carry too much mystique with it, and I doubt there will ever be a "cupcake" release, but rather individual parts here and there. But who ever really knows, they might shock us and drop it all at once!
