it doesn't say that at all, Sprints temporary CEO states the company still supports WiMAX. Nor does it say the deal with Clearwire is totally off, its just they haven't got a plan or hard agreement on who's and whom's gonna do what.

I'm sure it will be resolved. I'm sure each company is trying to push whats best for each other. Sprint already owns 85% of the spectrum, they could go it alone.

Outside of crappy (but i've noticed a distinct improvement in the past month) Sprints actual service is pretty damned decent. I hope for their sake they continue to improve in CS, and on this topic, both come to some agreement. Cheaper and better for both in the long run.
