The REAL facts

The FACTS are that the phone is available...NOW (not January)... we have one in stock in our Sprint Indirect store for sale to the public. It is also available for direct ship through VAD. This phone is not EV-DO either, it is just a plain ol' Vision phone. Not sure where your information is coming from...but it is WAY off base. RESEARCH IS GOLDEN... ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE POSTING IT!! 😲

Check the Sanyo link...that's where they got the info from...
Just because your shady liquor/lotto/hair salon/cell phone store has it, doesn't mean they're supposed to 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

When the Sanyo site says "Sprint Stores" they're probably referring to direct channel retail locations. You know, actual Sprint stores. RadioShack and Indirect agents are considered a completely different retail channel. Which can sometimes be a double-edged sword.

I can't really vouch for other Indirect agents, but I can tell you from my own experience with Sprint is that the service itself is great. The problems come in when you want to get support from Sprint themselves. Their call center support is a joke and they don't give their agents any of the tools they need to give their customers the support they're asking for. That's the problem for us, not getting support from the company asking us to sell their product. Luckily we're not exclusive and Alltel's customer service is much, much better.

haha. You said Alltel and customer service in the same sentence! That is a joke in itself, thank you!

T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon do not work in my area. Sprint and Alltel are all we've got.

Just to update the ones on here that think they know so much..... we are an exclusive dealer, and we are just below the corp. level.

We as dealers generally know more about the products than most retail, and customer care reps., and by correcting mistakes like this one... it keeps me from having to deal with people who reads this material, and then comes looking for the phone that is supposed to have all the features and they actually don't.

Exclusive dealers are not "just under" the corp. level. They are in a completely dif sales channel then Corp stores. Exclusive dealers are in the same channel as all indirects. This phone is for indirects only which include your store, Radio shack and everyone else out there thats not receiving a paycheck directly from sprint.

Our information came from both Sanyo and corporate Sprint. We were told it was a limited availability phone in RadioShack retails stores exclusively until January via an email from a Sprint PR rep.

The Sanyo web site says Micro USB and has a picture of it on the side of the phone, as well.

No blame given, its just that there are many people that rely on sites like this to get updates, and its better to give the correct info, so that i don't have to deal people who don't understand that mistakes can be made, and that the phone is what it is.
