Yeah, I have no clue what the website for Sanyo is talking about. Phone Scoop really needs to update this.
The S! by Sanyo is our new free phone and that is it. It is a nice phone but yet again it is just the free phone. It runs off of the Sprint Vision Network...not power vision. It is Bluetooth Enabled(thank god finally a free phone with it) and does actually have a nice speaker phone on it. and of coarse it is made by Sanyo so you have the signal quality.
Also the sale of customers that want a nice phone but don't want to pay anything for it went up. We don't have to give them the Samsung M300 or the POS LG LX160 any more. Finally a quality free phone for us to sale.

Also does not have a Micro USB port to charge or plug into your computer. They Really Really need to update that story.

Uh... I've got an actual S1 in my hands right now and I can tell you, it does have a Micro USB on the right side of the phone just above the headset jack.

lol more corrections. I was wrong. I could have sworn when I looked at the S1 that it was a different port. I was wrong, it does have the micro USB port. And thank god it does...it makes it an even better free phone.

Mustang do you work in a sprint corp store or in a 3rd party store that may just sell sprint only? I've had a meeting at the sprint corp office and was told the phone is only available through the indirect channel. Sprint.com doesn't offer this phone which in turn means that sprint direct store do not offer this model.
