The SGH-F300 Ultra Music (aka upstage) was marketed all across Europe with Beyonce in print and televison advertisements. THAT'S why Beyonce's attached to this phone.

Get a clue before you sound like an uneducated moron next time with all this "ghetto" garbage. SAMSUNG has the contact with Beyonce not Sprint.

Some of the comments below strike me as borderline racist. I'm surprised the moderator hasn't deleted some of this garbage.

People feel free to post something in an anonymous environoment that they wouldn't dare sign their name to.

Samsung released two versions of the Upstage without Beyonce on it through Sprint. If she is attached to because of a contract then why wasn't she attached to the first to versions?

The same reason the red wasn't released from the get go. You release a steady steam of updates to keep the product moving along.

calling someone ghetto isn't racist. You can be any "color" and be called ghetto. To be honest I don't believe not condone the use of the term "race" when speaking of someones color of skin. We are all Human and apart of the Human Race.

What does that have to do with anything at all? The word gay originally referred to something being colorful. Its origin has nothing to do with its usage, in this context. Also, ghetto did not refer to "Jews before it became what it is in the USA," just the area in which they lived; it began as a noun and evolved into an adjective.

Also, the way the word has been used in this context is not as racist as much as it is prejudiced. Beyonce is definitely not "ghetto." She was raised in the suburbs and was middle classed, at the very least, from birth. Ghetto has been attached to her because she is being associated with hip hop and that genre's quintessential constituency--the genre of music I listen to most, by the way--as well as the big ele...

its a stupid idea, Beyonce is cool if you like her, but why would you want a phone with her name on it? Are we gonna see a Shakira Nokia or a Mariah Carey Motorola next. There is no reason for this phone to exist. The idea is stupid and if you wanna look stupid then go get the phone. 😁
