T639 to replace 'Stripe'?

It actually looks exactly like the Samsung Hue for Altell to me from the one picture...

it does look the same, but the phone is going to operate on tmobile's UTMA network according to streamline....so if you get the phone now, you'll be first to experience tmobile 3g when it comes into play...supposedly the second half of 2008, but sooner for miami, new york and LA.

T639 is way better than T329 (different class)
850/900/1800/1900/AWS UMTS (utilizes Qualcomm Digital)

Its not just a front changeable plate but the back can be changed too. The phone only comes with the front. The Alltel r500 (Hue) come with the front and back plates which will fit the T639 perfectly. Also the term Xpress-on is a Nokia term and should not be confused with Samsung

But with all indications the T639 should be a great phone if not one of the best Samsungs that TMobile has
