why didn't PHONE SCOOP have any info on the carriers section same thing for other mvno that are still around?

A carrier has to reach a certain number of subscribers before Phone Scoop will add it as a carrier.

Very true! Rich wont add it until they reach over a certain subscriber mark. I told him that he needed to add TracFone & he said he wouldnt til they reached the mark. I pointed it out that they had & he added it immediately! 😁

Disney was one I went back and forth on, as far as adding them to the carriers in the database. I hesitated mostly because I just didn't see the commitment I felt was necessary to be successful, or at least the commitment necessary to reach our 1-million-customer threshold any time soon.

So yes, our official threshold is 1 million customers. That's only a strict threshold for traditional (national and regional) carriers, though. It's not as clear-cut with MVNOs.

For example, SunCom recently passed the 1 million mark, and we added them when they did. (Southern LINC was added before we created the 1-million policy, so they're essentially grandfathered.)

With national MVNOs it's a bit trickier, because they launch nationally, and most ...
