AT&T, Frontline Join Verizon In Fighting FCC Auction Rules
I'm confused
As far as the rest of it goes, I don't know...don't really care! I just think it's funny that when the article came out about this whole thing before, Verizon was getting bashed and drug all through the mudd for standing up for this... now ATT falls in line too? Where's the Cat O' Nine tales on this issue for VZ now? Oh, yeah..... all of the "other" reps are beating themselves with it...
I think each carrier is arguing different points. Maybe they really believe what they're arguing, or maybe VZW is going to argue one way and ATT another in the hopes that at least one of those legal arguments will stick.
What will probably happen is they will keep bidding no matter what and the winner will then keep challenging the rules until they have their way or at least reach an agreement that emergency personnel can use the spectrum for free.
