AT&T and Verizon merger would not go through and obviously adding Voda will never get approval either.

wait you don't think a Vodafone/Verizon merger is possible?

technically they don't compete in the same space so the FCC and DOJ shouldn't have a problem with it

bheiman mentioned if AT&T and Verizon were to merge and then bring Voda into the mix. I replied saying that AT&T and Verizon would never be allowed to merge and if you were to add Voda into the picture then it definitely will not happen. I think a Voda/Verizon combination would happen and it likely epically given their recent 4G announcement. It makes sense. there might be some divestitures though especially in either this country or in the assets that Voda has.

Oh, ok. Well obviously, if those three companies merge or if Sega and Nintendo got together it will provide some great networks, but it will also hurt competition as they can do what they want as they control every aspect of the network. If there are certain major divestitures and conditions set and they all comply, it could be very interesting. Since they do own the networks they could charge very little. I think that is why Voda and Verizon are creating a merger type situation but with its LTE network.
