What happened to the menu key like on the 5800?

Is it me, or is there no more menu key like on the 5800 XpressMusic? I'm just wondering because if there isn't, how to do take a quick look at what you have open, so you can switch to it easier?

In the new versions of S60, absolutely any "Options" menu has an option at the top that says "Show open apps". It's a system-wide S60 thing now. I think they made that change to eliminate the need for a special menu/app key.

There is also a shortcut key in the corner of the front face. I think it brings up a media menu, but perhaps it's configurable (not sure).

its a pre-pre-pre production unit... they are doing the same thing they did with the N96. Nokia is showing the phone off 10 months before they even release a spec sheat on the device.

What makes you say 10 months? Nokia said 1st half of 2009. My guess is the end of April or beginning of June, just a guess. But I'm going to start saving now.

Rich, I have a ? for you. I'm a current owner of the N95-3, and to copy text, I press the pencil button and scroll to highlight the text and then press copy. Do you know how to copy/paste on the N97?

I notice there are pix of both a silver and black N97, you don't happen to know which one will nd up being the N97-NAM, do you? Or is it way too early to know.

I like the silver one a lot more!
