I doubt it. Suncom management didn’t even think this would happen. Moreover, Shareholders didn’t think it would happen since operationally and financially this company has failed miserably. Chapter 11 was probably the likelihood if there was no buyout. I would have waited until that would happen and then buy Suncom on the $.1 to the $1.

Living in SC I welcome T-Mobile. However as we have a 450 a month minute plan and 2000 Roll over minutes in the bank, I can't see switching carriers but i knkow A LOT of Suncom subscribers who will ONLY if the prices are lower then ATT.

They are used to unlimited service for little money and will not pay a premium for a logo..

Not true at all. In fact, AT&T’s voice ARPU at $50 vs. T-mobile’s $53 and Suncom’s $57. That data shows that T-mobile and Suncom’s customers pay more than AT&T. the good thing is that T-mobile’s CPGA isn’t that high while Suncom’s is so T-mobile can increase a little bit and still allow and try to get customers over to T-mobile from Suncom. I think it is easier to switch Suncom’s subscribers to T-mobiles.

Further explanation is at https://www.phonescoop.com/carriers/forum.php ?fm=m&ff=5&fi=1379083 where I expand on the T-mobile forum called “What will come next.”
