We spend millions to advertise and promote the Cingular name after buying at&t wirless.

You decide we need to change our name, and rebrand all the stores. We repaint, rebrand, get city permits to hang new signs and get everything exactly how you say it should be.

Now you want us to change it again. You still haven't fixed the holes in my wall you made when the new sign was put inside my store. Now I'll have to hang a new one on my wall, my front door, my front windows, and the banner outside my store again.

Thanks you ****s.

That IS messed up. They spending more money on changing names, then improving products and services for their customers.

I'm suprized shareholders haven't gotten a little more vocal about these moves.

Hope they get you set up properly.

Did you not read the rest of the article where it says they are trying to bring lower international rates and other combined product discounts to consumers?

I did thanks, and what I was talking about is how the companies actions impact the stores and the resellers.

how about using that money to light up more areas in 3g and eventually get started on HSUPA instead of changing the letters from black to ORANGE, are you kidding me, and there was just a recent name change!!!! waste..... or make improvements on the network because despite what the commercials say, i am getting ****ty service, random dropped calls w/ a full signal and horrendous call quality (amr-hr may be the blame but sometimes its not even that) seriously at&t!

Brilliant! 😁 Even though you were joking. How hard is it to paint orange over blue, anyway?

BTW, I like the orange and blue color scheme. Looks good! The at&t "deathstar" is also way better than Cingular's "stickman".

I really miss "Jack" though (the Cingular "stickman") I have a friend that has a giant blowup "Jack" that's like 10 feet tall. He brings it to toga parties and puts sheets around it...

And must be great to be enslaved to only the phones your provider carries and allows.

I dont think you are going to see a change in outside branding. This is referring to print and media. It has been said all along that orange represents mobility. Just taking it to next level of the rebranding campaign.
